up to no goodincomprehensibly in love with the trickster conceptbut even more in love with its originshow it was originally a seemingly fun and very throw away type of easter egghow it was a wink and a nod at fannon and fandom incorporated into the story just for fun but still outside of canonbut everything changed when the fire nation attackedand suddenly not only was it canon but it seemed like it had always been canon that it was always important element of the storyand that is really what i love about homestuck the mosthow it constantly takes and challenges any medium it choses toand how it subverts and ultimately revolutionises the very concept and idea of storytellingi love that this is a story that could only ever work at this exact point in our history as a speciesthat it could only ever be told the way it is and that it's utterly impossible to describe to others in a casual manneri love that it's live storytelling i love that it knows its audiencethat it interacts with that audience and appeals to it and in turn lets that audience influence the storythat it literally allows the audience to play the storyand to not only read it but to see it and hear it and explore it in every way that they cani love that it's incomprehensile and utterly confusing and yet so complex and serious and rewardingand that this story gets away with things that no other medium or story ever wouldi love that this story had a page that looked like it was a flash with a box underneath not to be read until you had watched the flashand that said flash never loaded and only when you had lost your patience and clicked the box would you be toldthat there is no flashliterally no other audience would allow for this level of general fuckery within its mediaand yet it works here and it does more than work it delightsand there's just so much to this that it deserves to be explored deeper and more thoroughlybecause it's an entirely unique and never before tried method of storytelling that may never work for anyone else ever againand if i have any regrets it's that i wasn't there at the startbecause i would give everything to experience this live from the very beginning as it grew and
